Boat Schedule

• Other boat time may chartered our speed boat. (based on availability) The boat chartered from Kuala Besut Jetty at RM 450 for one way, return on the same day at RM 800.
• Surcharge of 50% from above rates for trips between 1700hrs – 0800hrs (next day)
• Boat transfer is subject to weather conditions of which the management is not liable for losses incurred due to failure to connect with other services.

FORCE MAJEURE

• PIR will not be liable for refunds or losses/ damages, should the guest(s) not be able to enter or exit the island due to bad weather conditions or any accidents during the transfer to and from the island.
• PIR will not be obliged to provide food and accommodation should any force majeure event occur, including a power outage, that makes the guest unable to exit the island. However, if so provided, will be subject to availability; terms and conditions apply.

Others

1. The Malaysian Marine Department and Local Council (Majlis Daerah Besut) has imposed an entrance fee to Pulau Perhentian Marine Park. This fee will be paid directly by guest at the Marine Park counter located at Kuala Besut Jetty and subject to change by the state government.
2. The Malaysian government has imposed an additional hotel tax to foreigners which will be charged per room per night. The fees will be paid directly to the hotel as we are the appointed tax collector by the government.
3. Any other additional fee imposed by government will be advised accordingly
4. Child meal rates apply for those between the age of 4 – 12 years old.
5. Children under the age of 12 sharing the same room with parents and sleeping on existing bed are FOC (excluding meals and extra bad/ mattress) in all room categories.
6. The above rates are based on a maximum of two (02) persons in a room. The Superior Classic (3rd Row – Hill & Garden View), Deluxe Heaven (2nd Row – Garden & Sea View), Premier Garden (2nd Row – Garden & Sea View) and Premier Beachfront (1st Row – Sea View) can accommodate with one (01) extra bed, maximum three (03) persons. The Family Heaven can accommodate one (01) extra bed or two (02) mattresses, maximum four (04) persons
7. Should any Government authorities in Malaysia increase or decrease the percentage of tax collected on room and/ or meals and/ or service charge, Perhentian Island Resort (“PIR”) reserves the right to adjust the rates within the agreed period in accordance to alterations to the prevailing government tax and service charge.
8. Package prices are quoted on the basis that the guest takes all the services stated in the package. There is no refund for any non-utilized of services in the package.
9. Check-in time is after 3:00 pm | Check-out time is before 12:00 noon. Extension of check-out time up to 3:00 pm will be subject to a surcharge of 50% of the applicable room rates. Check-out after 6:00 pm will be subjected to 1 night room charge. All extensions will be subjected to room availability only.
10. Deposits are requiring at RM100 per room (cash payment) for F.I.T.s upon check-in and will be refund upon check out.
11. Once booking is make and confirm all the deposit and full payment of the booking is non refundable
12. Cancellation and no show of the booking is non refundable
13. PIR only have wifi internet at our lobby area & at our Pinang Seribu Restaurant
