Located on 5 acres of sprawling beachfront property, The Barat Tioman invites you to stay in air-conditioned comfort in one of our 56 spacious rooms with modern amenities. After an exciting day of discovering nature-inspired adventures, cool down by the swimming pool with a refreshing drink from our rooftop Skybar, or enjoy delicious bites against an ocean view at Barat Restaurant with your family and friends before heading back to your room for a hot shower and relaxing time as you watch TV.

  • 2 Ways Ferry Transfer Mersing / Tg Gemok - Tekek Jetty - Mersing / Tg Gemok (Can arrange with us)
  • Tourism Tax RM 10 per room per night (for Non-Malaysian guest)
  • Pahang Sustainability Fee of RM 3 per room per night
  • Marine park conservancy fees payable at Jetty: Mersing Jetty or Tanjung Gemok Jetty : Malaysian: RM5 , Non-Malaysian: RM30
  • Travel Insurance

  1. The exact tour itinerary is subject to change based on the weather conditions and any other conditions that may affect the itinerary. The final decision is to be made by the tour company.
  2. The Barat is not liable for any cancellation of the ferry due to weather conditions.
  3. Check in time: 2pm | Check out time: 10am (surcharge might apply in case of late check out)
  4. STRICTLY non-refundable or non-transferable for any unused portion of the package.
  5. Any cancellation/no-show, after the full pre-payment/full payment is made will not be entertained/refunded.
  6. The Resort reserves the right to alter, amend, delete, or add to the conditions or withdraw the package at any time without prior notice.
  7. The resort reserves the right to exchange the snorkeling trip for other recreational activities with the same value.
  8. All guest are required buy the ferry ticket directly with ferry operators or ferry agent before arrival , ferry schedule is varying and subject to weather condition.
  9. Ferry schedule will be updated every 3rd week of the month by ferry operator.
  10. Reservation is subject to Room availability and is based on a first come first serve basis.
  11. Full payment must be made strictly before arrival / Check-in.
  12. No amendment or cancellation after payment is received.
  13. The Resort accepts no liability for losses incurred due to failure to connect with other services. The management cannot be held liable for loss of baggage or personal items, illness, injury, or death resulting from activities that are beyond our control.
  14. On weather or unforeseen operational conditions, the resort reverses the right to alter or postpone any itineraries of tour without compensation.

****Tourism tax MYR 10 per room per night will imposed to all foreign tourist with effective from 01 Sept 2017. Premises owner (The Barat Tioman Beach Resort) will collect from foreign customers upon check in.****
