Semporna 4D3N Borneo Divers Mabul Resort Sipadan Snorkeling Package - 4 Days

Scheduled Land and Boat Transfer:

SIPADAN ISLAND ACCESS – TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

1. Sipadan Island is closed from 1 to 30 November each year for conservation as mandated by Sabah Parks. Dates may change at the discretion of Sabah Parks.
2. Access to Sipadan requires a daily permit issued by Sabah Parks. Permit allocation is limited and managed by the resort; approval is not guaranteed. Permits are non-transferable and non refundable. Final access is subject to Sabah Parks’ approval and prevailing weather/sea conditions.
3. Children under 12 years of age may visit Sipadan but must pay the full adult Sipadan package rate and comply with all standard permit and safety requirements. Child rates do not apply.

Permit Application:
The following details are required for permit processing:

• Full name as per passport and nationality
• For Malaysian citizens: IC number & full name as per IC
• Gender, Date of birth or age

Getting to Mabul:

• Guests should fly into Tawau Airport (TWU) via Kota Kinabalu (BKI) or Kuala Lumpur (KUL) to connect with scheduled transfers.
• Land transfer: Approximately 90 minutes from Tawau Airport ↔ Semporna Jetty,depending on traffic.
• Boat transfer: Approximately 45–60 minutes from Semporna Jetty ↔ Borneo Divers Mabul Resort, depending on weather conditions.
• Note: To ensure seamless connections and minimize waiting time, guests should plan flights to align with the scheduled transfer. Please book flights arriving Tawau no later than 10:30  hours and departing after 16:00 hours to connect with the scheduled transfers.

Important Notes:

• Insurance claim support letters: Letters are issued only for verified accidental damage to dive equipment (e.g., dive computer, BCD, underwater camera) during the guest’s stay. Pre existing damage, equipment faults, or unsubstantiated claims are not covered. All requestsare subject to inspection and approval by the Dive Centre and Resort Manager. Anadministration fee of MYR 100 per letter applies for processing.
• Room Check-In/ Check-Out time: Check in at 15:00 hours, Check-Out at 10:00 hours.
• Amendment or Cancellation of Activities: The resort may amend, postpone, or abort activities due to safety concerns, adverse weather/sea conditions, poor visibility, or a guest’s compromised physical condition
• No Claims: No refunds, discounts or claims for unused services or incidental circumstances.
• Special Guests: Pregnant guests and senior citizens are advised to consult the resort regarding safety requirements prior to participation.
• Travel and Dive Insurance: Guests are strongly recommended to have their own travel and dive insurance for a peace of mind during their stay.
• The booking is confirmed once we receive your payment. No amendment & cancellation after deposit or full payment is done.
• Booking is subject to availability of rooms and confirmation will be on a first come first serve basis.
• The management reserves the right to revise the above facilities and rates without any prior notice.
