On arrival at Lombok Praya International Airport, you will be met by your local travel concierge for your transfer to your accommodation in the scenic Senggigi Beach resort for the next 4 nights. Sits in the east of Lombok, approx. 40 minutes drive from the airport, is Bukit Merese. Its aim to be visited at sunset as the sky fills with color, with its incredible views across the coastline. Bukit Merese is a popular spot for photo shoots, with engagement and romantic shoots taking place there. One of the most scenic beaches close by to Merese Hill is Tanjung Aan and Mandalika Beach, a pleasant cozy place with beautiful landscapes, white sand and without waves. Explore the beach during the day and before sunset walk up the Merese hill to watch the sun go down.

About 3hours drive from Senggigi is Sembalun highland. Nestled between striking mountains, Sembalun Village sits in a valley and at the base of the Mount Rinjani. Here you will find cabbage, carrots, chilli, rice and onions growing, with farmers playing a vital role in the village. On your visit, you will have the chance to experience strawberry picking on a traditional farm; Get insight into the local Sasak culture, traditions and learn their traditional housing that still stands in the village lived and still in use. Made of mud brick, the historical value of these homes within the community is very high. On this scenic journey, some stop made along the way visiting some of the highlights which include viewing of stunning Mount Rinjani, trek down and enjoy the scenic beauty of Sendang Gile waterfalls, a scenic site showcasing 2 different waterfalls reachable by trails through lush, scenic surrounds; encounter the locals at work on pottery making in traditional method at Penakak. Sembalun Lawang that offers a stunning landscape and hill view, is being the island’s nature icon and truly ideal spot for photo taking.

Embark on an island escape as you are taken to Bangsal harbour and jump onto the fast boat to Gili Trawangan, the largest and most built up among the three islands, surrounded by white sandy beaches, turquoise water and a mesmerizing underwater life. Relax and unwind or enjoy swimming at its clear water. Under water life lover might be opt for snorkelling or diving or simply joining the Island Hopping at your own cost. A chance to experience on a short CIDOMO ride, the local “Horse Carriage” to explore this Island for one hour (extended time usage will be on your own cost). Get a good view over the Gili islands, Bali and Lombok from the hill view point on Gili Trawangan at the southern end of the island. It takes 30 minutes walk to get the hilltop.

Be the villagers today as you visit Bilebante, a 100yrs old village in Central Lombok which has been revitalized as Green Tourism village. The uniqueness of the village is that the indigenous Sasak community (Muslim) lives peacefully alongside the Hindu community. The two cultures blend harmoniously and are a source of pride for the village community. Experience cycling or less-sweat ATV paddy field and forest ride to explore the villages and witnessing rice-planting activity and watching the making of kekere traditional hat. While cycling, you can explore places like local houses, river, vegetable and fruits garden, Five Bridge which was built in the 40’s during the Dutch colonization era and Pura Lingkar Kelud, the oldest temple in Central Lombok. Get insight into the local culture as you will have culinary experience, eats like local “Dulang Ayam Merangkat”. Fishing lover can experience pond fishing at its fishing market (at own cost). On your way back to hotel, explore the Mataram City and visits Lingsar Temple, Narmada Park before and learn the oldies history of Ampenan Old Quarter, China Town and its old harbour. Today Ampenan remaining as the fishing village. Nearby stop also made at Batu Bolong offshore temple which an ideal spot for capturing the orange tanged sunset in the early evening and photo taking.
