Overview

Namibia is a country which located at Southern Africa. Namibia share land borders with Atlantic Ocean (West), Zambia and Angola (North), Botswana (East) and South Africa (South). Zambezi River is a river that used to separates South Africa from South to east and Namibia although the river ranger is less than 200 meters (220 yards). (1)

Namibia gained independence from South Africa on 21 March 1990, after the Namibian War of Independence. Furthermore, Namibia also known as Republic of Namibia while the largest capital city of Namibia is Windhoek. Not only that, Namibia also a member of the United Nations (UN), Southern African Development Community (SADC), African Union (AU) and Commonwealth of Nations. (2)

Namibia has a stable multiparty parliamentary system country in the world with unique heritage cities look, unique desert landscapes, rich wildlife, high standard of living and rich natural resources. Besides that, Namibia is a country that produce highest– quality gem diamonds in the world. Nowadays, Namibia is a peaceful country, welcoming to visitors and offering an unforgettable experiences. Day 1
HOME - WINDHOEK (Meals on Board)

• Assemble at the airport and depart for Windhoek, Namibia’s capital.

Day 2
WINDHOEK - SOSSUSVLEI (L / D)

• Upon arrival at the Windhoek airport, meet up with your local guide.

• Drive south to the Namib Desert – the gateway to the world-famous Sossusvlei. On the way, you will have a stop at the viewpoint to appreciate the endless view of the Namib Desert.

• Finally, check in hotel and rest for the day.

Day 3
SOSSUSVLEI (B / D)

• Rise early this morning for a magical excursion into the Namib-Naukluft National Park.

• Visit the Dead Vlei – where you will find clay pans covered in a crust of salt-rich sand, surrounded by burnt orange and red towering dunes. It is considered as one of the most stunning desert landscapes in Africa.

• Make a stop at Dune 45 – An optional climb to the top will reward you with views that are worthy of the effort.

• Next, stop at the Sesriem Canyon – a natural gorge carved out by the Tsauchab River.

Day 4
SOSSUSVLEI - SWAKOPMUND (B / L / D)

• Depart for Swakopmund.

• you’ll pass through the Welwitschia Plains – where you can look out for the bizarre welwitschia plants, made of only 2 leaves that are gradually split into strips by the wind – some of which are over 1,500 years old.

• You’ll also pass through the Moonlandscape – where rippling hills and rocky valleys create an ‘other-worldly’ scene.

• Arriving at Swakopmund – Namibia’s top coastal resort located in a charming and German-like town nestled between the desert and ocean.

Day 5
SWAKOPMUND - WALVIS BAY - SWAKOPMUND (B / D)

• Start the day with scenic catamaran cruise from Walvis Bay – where spotting seals, pelicans, dolphins and other marine life is practically guaranteed.

Cruise to Pelican Point – with its landmark lighthouse and home to large colony of Cape Fur Seals. Tuck into fresh oysters with sparkling wine, savoury snacks and desserts while return to the waterfront.

• Next continue Sandwich Harbour excursion by 4×4 vehicle – Sandwich Harbour is a lagoon on the Atlantic coast of Namibia, south from Walvis Bay. You will be stop top of the dunes to enjoy the breathtaking views of the desert before arriving at Sandwich Harbour.

The journey will take you through lots of scenic places and you might even encounter Springbok, Oryx and Jackal.

• Last stop will be at the salt pans – close to Walvis Bay where Flamingos and other sea birds can be found in abundance.

Day 6
SWAKOPMUND - KHORIXAS (B / L / D)

• After breakfast, set off to the town of Khorixas – previously the capital of the Damaraland Bantustan prior to Namibia’s independence.

• Visit the Twyfelfontein – Namibia’s first World Heritage site. It also home to the 2,500 year old rock carvings, these simple sketches of lions, cattle and humans engraved into the red rock are humbling and beautiful – sure to be a real highlight of your trip to Namibia.

Day 7
KHORIXAS - ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK (B / L / D)

• Today, visit the unique local Himba village and interact with the villagers – The Himba are semi-nomadic pastoral people and are easily recognizable by their unique style of hair and dress.

• After that, travel to one of Southern Africa’s finest and most important Game Reserves Etosha National Park – Experience an afternoon Game Drive as you search for Big 5 and various other animal species in their natural environment. This drive includes waterhole visits and park exploration.

• Ending with a view of the sunset at one of their spectacular viewpoints before proceeding for dinner.

Day 8
ETOSHA NATIONAL PARK - WINDHOEK (B / L / D)

• Depart for Windhoek, the capital city of Namibia.

• Make a short stop at the craft markets in Okahandja before arriving in Windhoek in the afternoon.

• Take a city tour to view some its better-known landmarks monuments which include the Christ Church, Tintenpalast, Parliament Gardens and train station.

Day 9
WINDHOEK - HOME (B / Meals on Board)

• Relax in the morning before transferring to the airport for your return flight home.

Day 10
HOME SWEET HOME
