Overview
From Kuala Jasin a clear trail starts along the river. Several times the river has to be crossed, either on hanging bridges, or just by wading through the stream. It will take about one hour to reach Kuala Marong, from where it is another half hour to the waterfalls. The Upeh Guling falls are a mix of waterfalls and cascades. The trail ends near the top of the falls, where you can just walk on the rocks to the pools and falls. A perfect place for a picnic and a bath. Very characteristic for Upeh Guling are the many potholes, eroded in hundreds of thousands of years by the force of water and stones, swirling around.
