Overview

Experience and explore one of the world’s oldest tropical rainforest with this basic package of Taman Negara. Learn more about the ecology of the jungle and the immense biodiversity available here through the nature walk. Your nature guide will also show you the different plants and herbs found in the jungle and explain their benefits.

Itinerary

Day 1
Arrival Kuala Tahan Jetty (Dinner)

Optional Transfers are available (Shuttle/Boat) Depart from Ramada Suites at 7.30 am (Daily)
1.00pm Expected arrival at Kuala Tahan Jetty Registration for entry permit and licenses.
Lunch on personal account
3.00pm Registration for Chalet (Early check-in are subject to room availability only)
6.30pm Dinner at Seri Mutiara Restaurant
8.15pm Introduction of guide at Main Lobby
8.30pm Proceed to Night Jungle Walk, proceed with Nature Guide
Attire: Long Pants, Long Sleeve Shirt, Sport Shoes, Insect Repellent, Flashlight
Enjoy the experience walking inside the rainforest at night. Learn about nocturnal plants & insects. Catch sights of mammal’s en-route (sambar deer, mouse deer and porcupine, if you are lucky)

Day 2
Taman Negara(Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

7.00am Breakfast at Seri Mutiara Restaurant
9.30am Jungle trekking to Teresek Hill and Canopy, proceed with Nature Guide (Closed on Friday & subject to availability)
Attire: Long/Short Pants, Short Sleeve Loose Cotton T-Shirt, Sport Shoes, Insect Repellent (no denim/jeans and tight/body shape shirt)
Soft adventure activity – walking to the rainforest and enjoy panoramic view of Gunung Tahan from Teresek hill. Experience Canopy Walkway, the longest tree top suspension bridge in the world with 530 metres long and 50 metres height from the ground.
1.00pm Lunch at Seri Mutiara Restaurant
2.30pm Boat cruise to Lata Berkoh – visit to gigantic tree, spend time at Lata Berkoh and Fish Feeding at Kelah Sanctuary
Attire: Short Pants, Swimming Attire, Sport Shoes, Towel
Enjoy boat cruise through Tahan River to the Lata Berkoh cascades. Enjoy swimming in cool water from Gunung Tahan spring and rejuvenate by natural Jacuzzi. Stop by at Ikan Kelah Fish Sanctuary for fresh water fish feeding.
Note: This tour, if require nature guide kindly enquire within at additional charges. T/C applies.
6.30pm Dinner at Seri Mutiara Restaurant

Important notes:
The canopy walkway is closed every Friday for maintenance

Day 3
Taman Negara(Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner)

7.00am Breakfast at Seri Mutiara Restaurant. After Free & Easy.
1.00pm Lunch at Seri Mutiara Restaurant
3.00pm Boat Ride for Rapids Shooting to Kuala Trengganu at Sungai Tembeling Dropby at Orang Asli village (subject to availability only)
Attire: Short Pants, Short Sleeve Loose Cotton T-Shirt, Sandal
Negotiate mild rapids from Kuala Tahan up along the Tembeling River and visit an Orang Asli Settlement to learn more about their way of life.
6.30pm Dinner at Seri Mutiara Restaurant

Day 4
Depart to home(Breakfast)

7.00am Breakfast at Seri Mutiara Restaurant
12.00pm Registration out and room key return

  • There will be no refunds for any un-used portion of these packages
  • Price breakdown of single, twin, triple and quad are based on paying adults only

  • Day-use rooms on the day of departure from 1200 hours to 1800 hours, subject to space availability, will be charged at 50% of the published rates.
  • Any no show, full charges include any of components reserved for rooms, meals, activities, bus and boat transfer will be imposed
