Please be informed that due to the recent sharp increase in global fuel prices, all ferry operators operating between Malaysia-Batam-Malaysia will implement a Temporary Fuel Surcharge effective 22 March 2026. The surcharge is RM17 per passenger for departures from Malaysia and IDR 65,000 (approximately RM17) per passenger for departures from Indonesia. This surcharge is not included in the package price and must be paid directly at the ferry counter upon collection of the boarding pass. Please note that this surcharge is temporary and may be adjusted, reduced, or removed subject to fuel price conditions.
